Tumblr (3.0; @wankr)http://wankr.tumblr.com/<p>So, server internally fires up word, chooses a template, pipes in data, then saves as a .pdf.<br/> Problem is, the margins for the text are too close to the edge which means the left-most couple of letters on each line are missing when document gets printed.<br/> Now, to complicate things further:<br/> -one of a large selection of templates may be used, meaning it&#8217;s not feasible to hard code the margin into the dozens of templates<br/> -the server application runs under the system account.
